Frequently Asked Questions
-
I’m not a financial advisor—I don’t tell you which stocks to buy or work on commission. I’m also not a financial therapist. While we talk about your financial beliefs and habits, the focus is on taking practical steps to manage your money with confidence.
Financial coaching with Life’s Jam helps you get clear on where your money’s going, align your spending with your values, and build a flexible financial plan that fits your life on and off the road. It’s a judgment-free space to ask questions, get organized, and feel more in control.
-
Tours can bring me out to lead a financial workshop and offer 1:1 sessions during rehearsals. I also offer ongoing virtual support for crew members who want to work on their money situation on the road. Your team walks away with less stress, more stability, and money habits that help them hit their goals.
-
That’s exactly when support can make the biggest difference. Financial coaching helps you get clarity and make the most of what you have, so you can get out of the feast or famine cycle faster.
If it’s not doable right now, there are subsidized ways to afford financial coaching. I’ve partnered with MusiCares to offer free 1:1 sessions for eligible music professionals. Reach out to set up a free Q&A call and we’ll talk through your options.

Not at all. Many of my clients come in feeling behind, confused, or stressed, and that’s totally normal. Coaching is a place to learn, ask questions, and finally create a plan for your money that works. You don’t need all your ducks in a row to get started. You just need to be ready to take action toward the financial future you want.
-
I’ve built my financial programs and coaching to work with the chaos of tour life. That might mean a financial workshop during rehearsals or 1:1 coaching between gigs. We’ll figure out a cadence and format that fits your world.
-
Both! I work with music employers from tours to vendors who want to support their staff and crew with financial wellness. I do this through workshops, webinars, wellness partnerships, and coaching on tour or over Zoom.
-
No, I work with music industry employers, corporate teams, and non-profits like CMA too. I can also help creative freelancers, production folks, and others in this industry with non-traditional income or complex financial situations. I take 1:1 financial coaching clients when I have space on my calendar, so if you like my approach to money, I’d love to hear from you!

Fill in the contact form above or email rachael@lifesjam.com. I usually reply within 2 business days, and I mean it when I say that no question is too small. Money is hard and the music industry adds challenges, so I’d love to hear from you and see how I can help.
“I cannot overstate the impact Rachael Bronstein has had on my life…
Through a generous grant, I had the opportunity to work with her for a full year when finances wouldn’t have allowed it otherwise. During that time, she infused every session with clarity, compassion, and real-world tools that honored where I was coming from — as a creative, as someone self-employed, and as someone trying to build something sustainable. Today, I’m not only on my own two feet — I’m in a position to hire her with my own funds. That shift isn’t just about money. It’s about dignity, agency, and the kind of transformation that ripples out far beyond a spreadsheet.
If you’ve ever felt like financial coaching wasn’t “for people like you,” please let this be a sign that it can be. Thank you, Rachael. Working with you continues to be one of the most empowering decisions I’ve ever been gifted by the universe.”
