Early in my career, I worked in production finance at NBC. I learned what it takes to put on a show, and gained so much respect for those behind the scenes.
But my passion for finance goes back further. My dad passed from brain cancer when I was 10, and my mom started a financial planning business to support my special-needs sister and me. She was my first rockstar role model.
My childhood taught me the power in understanding your finances and becoming your own best advocate—a skill many music industry professionals are familiar with, too.
